Overview

The Role

  • Respond to customer calls requiring information on GAC services, e.g., pricing and product information.
  • Prepare and send quotes promptly in response to all customer and partner inquiries, e.g., rate inquiries, RFOs.
  • Maintain up-to-date cost and rate files, and electronic records of quotations made.
  • Enter correct customer booking information into GAC Sales and maintain a record (MS Excel) of all inquiries.
  • Maintain and update quality service manuals for the department.
  • Maintain the electronic information database “GAC Sales” for prospects and current customers within the territory.
  • Promote self-development and enhance market and competitor knowledge.
  • Contribute to team effectiveness by participating in frequent company activities that promote the GAC Spirit. Collaborate actively.
  • Apply expertise beyond the requirements of the main role to propose, support, and manage the business according to best practices, leading to overall service enhancement.
  • Communicate openly and professionally, without fear of retribution, regarding process improvements and areas of concern.
  • Share ideas, provide feedback, discuss concerns across all areas of the business, and offer guidance where appropriate.
Requirements
  • Graduate with a university degree.
  • Preferably holds a valid UAE driving license.
  • Possesses a high level of industry knowledge and strong confidence in communicating with and convincing clients.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint), with the ability to quickly learn new software.
  • Minimum of 3–4 years of experience in a similar role, including 1–2 years of experience in the UAE.
