We are seeking a driven and technically capable Sales Account Manager to lead business development and sales efforts for Medium Voltage (MV) and High Voltage (HV) cable accessories in Saudi Arabia. This role will be focused on delivering growth in the industrial, utility, and EPC sectors, including Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), Aramco, SABIC, Royal Commissions, and other key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will blend sales acumen with technical understanding to position TE Connectivity as a trusted partner in critical power infrastructure projects.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve annual sales targets for MV/HV cable accessories in Saudi Arabia.
    Lead commercial negotiations, technical clarifications, and customer onboarding for strategic accounts.
    Identify and pursue new project opportunities in utilities, oil & gas, mining, renewables, and infrastructure sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients such as:
    • Saudi Electricity Company
    • Aramco
    • SABIC
    • Marafiq, SWCC, NWC, and NEOM
    • Leading EPC contractors and consultants
  • Follow up on tenders, RFQs, technical submittals, and material approvals.

3. Specification & Product Promotion

  • Drive product approvals and specifications with utilities, engineering consultants, and end users.
  • Support local distributors and channel partners with pricing, training, and joint visits.
  • Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activities (e.g., Raychem RPG, Compaq, Nexans, ABB, NKT), and regulatory changes.
Desired Candidate Profiles
  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems (required)
    Master’s in Business (MBA) is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of sales or account management experience in power cable accessories, MV/HV products, or related industries in Saudi Arabia.
  • Familiarity with SEC specifications and project approval processes.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of MV/HV cable systems, accessories, and installation practices.
  • Ability to read technical drawings/specs and explain solutions to engineers and procurement teams.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Languages:
  • Proficiency in Arabic (strongly preferred)
  • Travel:
  • Willing to travel extensively within Saudi Arabia (up to 50%) for site visits, customer meetings, and project follow-ups.
