Responsibilities
- 3. ensures a safe and healthy work environment by developing safety programs, conducting risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards, and enforcing occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations
- 4. Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop preventative strategies and safety policies
- 5. Ensure adherence to all relevant UAE health and safety laws and international standards, staying updated on any legislative changes
- 6. Perform regular inspections of the workplace, equipment, and processes to detect unsafe conditions, acts, or non-conformities
- 7. Record, investigate, and report on accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- 8. Provide regular training to employees and workers on safe practices, emergency procedures, and the proper use of safety equipment
- 9. Develop and coordinate emergency response plans and conduct drills for scenarios like fires or natural disasters
- 10. Maintain accurate records of safety activities, incident reports, training, and audits for management and regulatory bodies
- 11. In-depth knowledge of UAE safety regulations, such as those set by OSHAD
- 12. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in MS Office are necessary.
