Minimum Roles and Responsibilities, but not limited to, will be as follows:
- Take all necessary precautions to protect the environment.
- Work in a manner that ensures personal safety and the safety of co-workers.
- Participate in company internal and other required training programs as mandated by management.
- Participate in daily toolbox talks and follow instructions from site coordinators/crew leaders.
- Use and maintain all safety devices provided for job execution.
- Maintain and properly use all tools under their control and use the appropriate tools for the job.
- Report for work in suitable clothing, free from hazards, and avoid jewelry or attire that could pose risks.
- Perform work safely and alertly, being aware of potential unseen dangers.
- Prioritize safety over task completion, avoiding sacrifices that could compromise safety.
- Keep the work area clean and maintain good housekeeping.
- Interpret film and other inspection methods in accordance with procedural requirements.
- Identify techniques used as per project requirements.
- Perform densitometer calibrations and demonstrations according to project-specific procedures.
- Verify joint details on films as per client requests.
- Classify indications from actual discontinuities, weld geometry, and film artifacts.
- Interpret specific code requirements related to Radiographic Testing.
- Assess sensitivity requirements and evaluate indications based on acceptance criteria.
- Prepare final radiographic examination reports following approved formats.
- Submit timesheets punctually and ensure approved timesheets are sent to the office as per management guidelines.
- Be aware of other NDT methods and coordinate with multi-method teams like PAUT for timely report and timesheet submission.
- Perform inspection activities in line with project scope and site conditions to optimize resources and avoid delays.
