Job description
Overview

The mission of this position is to develop the interests of the Company with a focus on the Middle East region, by further increasing the volume of precious metals sales and our existing customer base, and by developing new opportunities in the area. The jobholder will be a member of the Sales team and will be working closely with logistics and operations to ensure ongoing optimal collaboration between cross-functional teams and the organization’s goals and results. This position is based in Dubai.

Responsibilities

Customer relationships

  • Expand and deepen relationships with a variety of institutional and wholesale clients, such as financial institutions, bullion wholesalers, jewellers and mines, by developing entrepreneurial solutions and tailoring offers to meet their business needs.
  • Maintain and expand the customer base through the introduction of innovative products backed by the provision of superior services
  • Ensure that agreed customer service levels are achieved
  • Maintain regular close contact with valued customers to strengthen relationships through personalized interaction, and at the same time market the Group’s products and services
  • Assist the trading team with their activities (Physical and financial trading, customer service, projects, etc)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with broader company goals and regional market demands.
  • Provide senior management with strategic insights and uphold the Group's commitment to ESG values, leveraging these principles as a market differentiator

Business development

  • Through an excellent knowledge of the precious metals market and the customer needs in the Middle East, provide the Sales team with input to attract new customers
  • Keep abreast of market changes and trends to identify new opportunities and monitor risks
  • Support the marketing team in developing and implementing strategies to market the Group's products in the area

Compliance and risk management

  • Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal compliance requirements
  • Work in close collaboration with the compliance team in Geneva to ensure smooth and efficient onboarding of new customers

Team Leadership

  • Inspire and guide the local team by fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and accountability while ensuring alignment with business values and integrity.
  • Establish KPIs and development plans, conduct regular reviews, and provide feedback and mentorship to drive individual and team growth.
  • Empower local sales leads by aligning tools and messaging with market needs and promoting shared learning across regions and business lines.
  • Ensure consistent and transparent communication through regular meetings and leadership engagement, keeping teams aligned with strategy and market dynamics.
  • Champion a client-first, ethical, and improvement-oriented culture by leveraging analytics, feedback, and continuous learning to uphold excellence and adaptability

Additional duties

  • Effectively promote synergies and ensure coordination and collaboration with other areas of the Group
  • Make suggestions for improvement; bring innovative ideas and thinking

Required education and experience
