Job summary

A leading construction firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 15 years of experience, including 3 years in a management position. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ISO standards and a proven track record in the UAE construction market, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience with Main Contractors.
• At least 3 years in a management position.
• UAE Construction market experience required.
• NEBOSH/ISO Lead Auditor certification preferred.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific QA/QC plans.
• Lead site inspections, audits, and quality control checks.
• Support and drive Quality and HSE excellence across the business with strong QA/QC operational skills.
• Support Divisional and Project QAQC Teams in achieving consistent standards.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and documentation for compliance.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Identify, report, and resolve quality issues proactively.
• Lead, train, and mentor QA/QC staff to enhance team capabilities.
• Coordinate with project managers, design teams, and clients on quality matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience with Main Contractors with at least 3 years in a management position.
• UAE Construction market experience a must.
• NEBOSH/ISO Lead Auditor preferred.
• Experienced in Site level Quality Management, ISO9001, 14001 AND 45001 systems.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, and sustainable design practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
