A leading construction firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced QA/QC Inspector – MEP to oversee inspections and maintain quality checks for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Job description

We are looking for a knowledgeable and meticulous QA/QC Inspector – MEP to conduct inspections and quality checks for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems at the project site. The role involves verifying installations, materials, and workmanship against project specifications, approved drawings, and industry standards. The inspector ensures that all MEP works are executed to the required quality standards before being offered for client or consultant inspection.

1. Inspections & Quality Control
  • Perform inspections of MEP works, including:
  • HVAC systems (ducting, chillers, piping, units)
  • Plumbing systems (piping, drainage, sanitary fixtures)
  • Electrical systems (conduits, wiring, panels, lighting)
  • Verify that installations match approved shop drawings, method statements, and specifications.
  • Issue and follow up on Inspection Requests (IRs) to consultants/clients.
2. Material Inspection & Approval
  • Inspect incoming MEP materials and equipment for compliance with approved Material Approval Requests (MARs) and specifications.
  • Ensure materials are properly stored and protected at the site.
3. Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports.
  • Update and submit inspection checklists, daily reports, and QA/QC logs.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for testing & commissioning phases.
4. Non-Conformance & Corrective Action
  • Identify and report non-conforming work (issue NCRs) and coordinate with the QA/QC Engineer to resolve issues.
  • Monitor rectification and re-inspection of non-compliant works.
5. Coordination & Communication
  • Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors for inspection readiness.
  • Attend site QA/QC meetings and report status of MEP inspections.
  • Support QA/QC Engineers during third-party or consultant inspections.
