• Solid analytical skills with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses.
• In-depth knowledge of purchasing functions inventory and supply management system.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• To perform vendor research and selection to enhance profitability reducing operating costs and boosting efficiency.
• To maintain cordial working relationships with vendors and supervising vendor activities.
• To coordinate as appropriate quality matters and engineering changes/developments between company activities and suppliers.
• To review purchasing agreements with vendors monitoring their performance and renegotiating contracts.
• To utilize quarterly and annual data to determine purchasing needs and perform inventory management.
• To manage purchase orders overseeing shipping schedules and maintaining purchase inventories.
• To coordinate with warehouse team to compare deliveries with purchase orders to identify discrepancies.
• To conduct ongoing market research to identify beneficial purchase agreements and potential vendors.
