We are looking for a highly experienced and resourceful Public Relations Officer (PRO) to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will manage and execute all government-related processes including visa applications, license renewals, labour and immigration formalities, and regulatory compliance for a group of companies in the construction engineering and HR consultancy sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Government Relations & Legal Formalities
- Process and manage all visa applications including new employment, renewal and cancellation of visas (residence employment dependent).
- Handle Emirates ID registration, medical testing and labour contracts via MOHRE.
- Maintain up-to-date records of employee and company legal documentation.
Liaison with Government Departments
- Directly coordinate with UAE government departments: GDRFA, MOHRE, DED, DHA, DM, Dubai Police, ICP and Civil Defence.
- Submit online and manual applications via Tasheel, Amer, ICP and E-Channel.
Licensing & Documentation
- Manage trade license renewals, chamber of commerce certificates, tenancy contracts and establishment card renewals.
- Draft translate (if required) and manage Arabic/English official letters and NOCs.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of board resolutions attestations and legal translations.
Compliance & Tracking
- Ensure full compliance with UAE labour laws, immigration policies and company policies.
- Monitor expiration dates for all licenses and documents; set reminders and take proactive action.
- Keep internal teams informed on regulation updates or changes affecting business operations.
External Relations & Representation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with typing centres, government agents and regulatory officials.
- Represent the company at ministries, immigration offices and courts when required.
- Support in audits and inspections related to PRO functions.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a PRO in the UAE (Dubai-specific experience highly preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of UAE labour, visa and immigration laws.
- Proficient with government portals like MOHRE, GDRFA, Tasheel, ICP, Amer.
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Reliable, detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Must hold a valid UAE driving license.
