Job summary

A leading technology company in Dubai is looking for a candidate to join their Operations integration team, focusing on low-cost automation solutions. You will manage project administration tasks, conduct physical testing of new equipment, and establish vendor relationships. Additionally, you'll oversee lab activities, including troubleshooting and training other technicians. The ideal candidate has expertise in Electrical or Mechanical fields and a proactive approach to managing multiple responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation and Controls.
• 1+ years of conveyors/automation/control systems maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects and administer various tasks.

Job description

Description

We are a team with an aim to introduce Low Cost Automation solution to AMET region. The right candidate will be a helping the Operations integration team in the following activities:

1. Project administration:
   1. PO/Vendor management, delivery tracking with vendors.
   2. Support on the floor for Projects during the trials/pilot phase.
   3. Data Recording for projects during trial/pilot phase (through amazon portals, time motion studies).
   4. Project updates and Office hours to different teams during roll out or pilot phase (when required only).
   5. Push compliance for the trial/pilot phase for any new idea on the floor.
   6. Concept design/model designing from AutoCAD.
   7. Using the lab 3D printing machine for prototypes.
2. New Physical Lab testing equipment's:
   1. Leading the Lab equipment running.
   2. Owning the Equipment usage intake by other teams.
   3. Expert in basic trouble shooting of equipment's (training will be provided).
   4. Responsible for any meeting, delegation coming to Lab (Basic settings of lab, updating the docs, projects in the lab, showing the lab around).
   5. Should be able to train others.
   6. Responsible for any new testing for site assessment tests.

Key job responsibilities

1. Multiple Projects administration.
2. Physical testing of new equipment's.
3. Connecting with new Vendor's for equipment's to create MENA's Own vendor base.
4. Lab coordinator for any internal or external visits.

Right candidate has the ability to lead other technicians, project team members, design solutions for challenging problems, manage outside vendors, be on call for emergencies, handle multiple projects and daily activities, and meet tough time lines.

We are a new team with an aim to introduce Frugal automation solution to MENA region.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation and Controls.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of conveyors/automation/control systems maintenance experience.
