Job summary

A leading marine construction firm in Abu Dhabi is searching for a seasoned Project Manager to lead marine and coastal projects. The role requires managing budgets, coordinating teams, and ensuring compliance with quality, health, and safety standards. Candidates must have a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 15 years of experience in marine projects, and PMP certification. This role is crucial for effective project execution and client liaising within the marine construction domain.

Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the overall construction execution of marine and coastal projects
  • Oversee construction of breakwaters, quay wall rock structures, and beach profiling works
  • Develop and manage project execution plans, schedules, and construction strategies
  • Control project budgets, costs, cash flow, and forecasts
  • Monitor productivity, progress, and profitability; implement corrective actions as needed
  • Manage and lead multidisciplinary teams including superintendents, engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors
  • Coordinate marine plant, logistics, procurement, and subcontractor activities
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, HSE, and environmental regulations
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, port authorities, and senior management
  • Support claims, variations, reporting, and project close-out activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 15 years of Exp. in Marie Civil Project (Activity involved In, Breakwater Construction, Quay wall, beach profiling, etc.)
  • Strong experience in budget management and cost control
  • In-depth understanding of contractual obligations and contract management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) processes
  • PMP Certification
