Job Description

The Project Engineer - Electrical (MEP) is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and executing the electrical scope of MEP works at site. The role includes reviewing designs, managing installations, ensuring compliance with project specifications and authority requirements, and supporting project delivery within time and budget constraints.

  • Coordinate with MEP consultants, architects, and other disciplines to ensure proper integration of electrical systems.
  • Monitor daily site progress for electrical works and ensure adherence to schedule, quality, and safety standards.
  • Supervise subcontractors and site technicians during installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical MEP systems.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant local authorities such as DEWA, SEWA, ADDC, Civil Defence, and other utility providers.
  • Conduct site inspections and participate in quality checks, method statement reviews, and risk assessments.
  • Prepare and follow up on material submittals, RFIs, work inspections (WIRs), and project documentation.
  • Assist in preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, load schedules, and coordination layouts.
  • Support in managing variations, snagging, and final handover of electrical systems.
