Key Responsibilities
  • Review project BOQs drawings and specs to determine material requirements.
  • Source evaluate and negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors for civil materials (steel cement MEP finishes).
  • Prepare RFQs compare bids and issue purchase orders.
  • Coordinate with site teams to align deliveries with project schedules.
  • Inspect materials on-site for quality and compliance.
  • Identify cost-saving and value-engineering opportunities.
  • Maintain supplier relationships and records.
Requirements
  • Bachelors in Civil Engineering.
  • 5 years as a Procurement Engineer/Officer in UAE building contracting.
  • Strong knowledge of civil materials construction standards and local regulations.
  • Able to read technical drawings and BOQs.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Valid UAE driving license preferred.
