• Differentiate teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including EAL, gifted, and students requiring additional support.

• Assess, record, and communicate student progress effectively, using data to inform teaching and personalised support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and refine IB‑aligned curriculum plans, resources, and assessments.

• Build positive relationships with parents and the wider school community to support student growth and wellbeing.
• Engage in ongoing professional learning and reflection to continuously enhance teaching practice.

Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

• A certified professional teaching qualification at degree level, such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent in Physical Education specialism.
• A minimum of 3 years of solid and demonstrable experience teaching Primary PE, ideally within an IBCurriculum School (preferred but not essential).
• Experience teaching PYP is preferred but not essential.
• A passion for inspiring young learners through innovative and inquiry based teaching.
• The vision, energy, commitment, and educational philosophy to contribute to the continued success of a leading flagship GEMS school with an international student body.
• A desire to grow professionally and work within a collaborative, forward‑thinking community.
