Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC Senior/Specialist Civil Engineer (Construction)-Site based for one of our key clients in Abu Dhabi as part of our ADNOC Gas PMC team within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business. Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be full time site based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The key objectives for this role are:

• Develop and implement detailed civil construction plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies to ensure efficient site execution.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements for all civil works and structures.
• Monitor and control project costs and schedules for civil works, preventing overspending and ensuring timely delivery.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on civil works, including foundations, structural elements, and site grading, to meet project standards.
• Identify potential risks in civil construction activities, implement mitigation measures, and enforce strict safety protocols on-site.
• Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients to align civil works with overall project objectives.
• Integrate sustainable and eco-friendly practices in civil construction and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability goals.
