Operations Manager – Contracting / Oil & Gas

This role oversees end-to-end operations across multiple contracting and oil & gas projects, including offshore work.

It’s important that you have experience in the Oil & Gas Sector.

Key responsibilities include:

Operations & Project Management

• Manage daily site and offshore operations, ensuring smooth coordination with PMs, procurement, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Lead tendering, vendor management, prequalifications, and material submittals.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, risks, and HSE compliance.
• Prepare status reports for management and clients.

Resource & Demand Planning

• Forecast manpower, equipment, and materials across multiple projects.
• Develop resource allocation plans to optimize utilization.

Quality Assurance & Control

• Maintain QHSE Management Systems and certification.
• Develop QA/QC plans (ITPs), procedures, and ensure compliance with API, ASME, ASTM, ISO, etc.
• Manage NCRs, corrective actions, audits, and training.

Logistics & Warehousing

• Oversee inventory control, warehouse operations, and logistics to ensure timely delivery to sites.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering; Master’s in PM/Quality/Business preferred.
• Certifications: ISO 9001 Lead/Internal Auditor, PMP, NEBOSH; Six Sigma preferred.
• Experience: 7+ years in QA/QC and operations within contracting, fire protection, or oil & gas.
• Proven experience managing EPC or maintenance projects, multi-site and offshore.
• Strong skills in planning tools (Primavera/MS Project), ERP, QA/QC systems, budgeting, risk, resource planning, and HSE.
