A recruitment consultancy is seeking an experienced logistics manager to oversee supply chain operations in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in logistics management, strong knowledge of customs regulations, and excellent leadership skills. Proficiency in logistics software is required. Willingness to relocate is a must.
Manage day-to-day operations of supply chain and logistics functions.
Coordinate procurement, inventory control, warehousing, and transportation.
Monitor KPIs to ensure timely delivery, cost-efficiency, and service quality.
Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with business goals.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of shipments, inventory, and operations.
Ensure compliance with UAE customs regulations and international shipping standards.
Negotiate with suppliers, shipping lines, and freight forwarders.
Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Finance, Warehouse) to support order fulfillment.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Lead and supervise warehouse logistics and fleet management teams.
Education: Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field (Master's is a plus).
Experience: 5‑8 years in logistics or operations management.
GCC Experience: Preferred but not mandatory.
Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs clearance, warehouse management, and logistics systems (ERP/WMS).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or Zoho Inventory is an advantage.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Willingness to relocate and work full-time in the UAE.
