Job summary

An offshore engineering firm is seeking an experienced Offshore Electrical Designer to support detailed engineering for offshore oil and gas projects in the UAE. The role involves preparing electrical designs, ensuring compliance with offshore standards, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a minimum of 10 years of offshore experience, preferably with Saudi Aramco projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design tools is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years offshore electrical design experience, including offshore drilling rigs and refurbishment.
• Saudi Aramco offshore project experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detailed Design execution.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical design deliverables including SLDs and load lists.
• Support FEED and Detailed Engineering activities.
• Prepare and review electrical specifications for equipment.
• Perform electrical calculations including load and voltage drop.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for clash-free designs.
