Job summary

A leading HVAC service provider in the UAE is seeking a skilled technician responsible for Planned Preventive Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance, and installation of various HVAC equipment. Candidates should possess a diploma in Refrigeration & Air-conditioning and have at least 5 years of relevant experience. Strong mechanical skills and the ability to manage maintenance tasks effectively are essential. This position offers opportunities to work with various HVAC systems and requires good English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Previous experience in facilities management/building maintenance is desirable.
• Operational knowledge of air distribution and measurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Repair faulty refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
• Conduct routine checks and maintain logs of equipment status.
• Requisition materials for HVAC operations.
• Assist in verification of HVAC spare parts.

Job description

• In this role your primary responsibility is to carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Breakdown maintenance, Installation & commissioning of all Heat Ventilating Air-conditioning equipment’s and systems. Which includes Chillers, Pumps, Air Handling Units, Fan Coil Units, Fans, Package units, Ducted split units, Wall mounted units, WAC’s & Closed coil units.
• Repairs faulty Refrigeration and Air Conditioning equipment and Plant.
• Carries out routine checks and logs of the status of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning equipment.
• Requisitions for materials required for the smooth operation of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning equipment.
• Assists in verification of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning spares purchased/supplied.
• Can read & understand the work instructions and ability to carry out the maintenance & lubrication activities accordingly.
• Knowledge on Psychomotor functions and operations, take readings on dry & wet bulb temperatures.
• Ability to take reading on daily routine jobs like AHU, FCU, CHWP run hrs, and others.
• Ability to replace the FCU, AHU motor, mechanical seals & alignment of Blowers.
• Knowledge on air distribution, ducting system, insulations, instruments handling, measuring methods.

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma/ Trade Certification in Refrigeration & Air-conditioning Equipment. (ITI, ITC, NCTV , Diploma)

Work Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Previous experience working in facilities management /Building Maintenances- Desirable.
• Expertise in HVAC systems.
• Operational knowledge of air distribution and measurement systems.

Languages:

• Able to understand and communicate in English.
