Job description
  • The Senior Specialist D365 Developer is responsible for designing developing and maintaining business logic application objects integrations and extensions for our D365 application which was implemented across multiple global locations in 2016.
  • This role ensures that technical solutions align with business requirements industry best practices and the global IT organizations architecture roadmap.
  • The developer will work closely with functional/technical consultants business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver robust scalable and highly optimized system solutions.
  • Design configuration and tailoring of full cycle D365 F&O implementations in new markets or expansions in existing markets.
  • Partner with the business stakeholders to design and implement automated and optimal processes and data-driven initiatives that enhance the current capability of our D365 F&O application.
  • Provide key technical insights and recommendations on finance supply chain (including advanced warehouse management systems) and procurement fixed assets and inventory human resources management processes in Microsoft D365 F&O.
  • Collaborate with business operations and IT teams to understand business needs define requirements for system modifications enhancements integrations and develop the appropriate system solutions for these.
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert on D365 F&O large scale functional implementations solution architecture upgrade and integration to other applications within the IHS applications portfolio or with 3rd party applications.
  • Primary contributor in projects and initiatives that maintain and improve upon the overall systems maturity journey of IHS.
  • Provide technical support with the day-to-day operation of D365 F&O standard and ISV solutions in collaboration with the OEM(Microsoft) and technical implementation partner.
  • Take full ownership of the D365 LCS development and technical project platform.
  • Manage the relationship with the OEM(Microsoft) for the optimisation of storage user licenses cloud environments provisioning and other application resources like power platform/logic apps.
  • Support the operation of SOX and IT governance and control frameworks.
  • System implementation: Expert level knowledge of D365 F&O application capabilities and architecture data structure integration with other applications.
  • Operational Effectiveness: Good functional understanding of finance supply chain and procurement human resources and inventory management processes policies and best practices. Highly skilled in identifying inefficiencies and recommending system enhancements to optimize workflows and increase productivity
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert level understanding of D365 business logic D365 report design and concisely and engages effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Diverse Stakeholder Management: Manage diverse stakeholders by addressing varied opinions and expectations while also promoting cross-generational interaction at all levels.

Qualifications :

Education/Qualification

  • BSc in Computer Science Engineering or any related field/equivalent.
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
  • A minimum of eight to ten (810) years of experience in the implementation and technical configuration and development of Dynamics 365 F&O.

Experience

  • 8 to 10 years experience of development/management of D365 F&O.
  • Techno-functional experience with the ability to develop program and review D365 business logic system objects (e.g. forms/tables) and reports.
  • Experience in data analysis and process improvement methodologies.
  • Strong background in partnering with the business leaders change managers and leading strategies that create a high-performance culture.
  • Experience in large publicly listed organisations preferably SOX compliant.
