Overview

Merchandiser – Location: Haur-Fakkan, UAE. Salary: 1600 AED/month. We are looking for a Merchandiser to join our team in Haur-Fakkan, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining a profitable product mix in order to meet customer needs and maximize sales.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies that will increase sales and profits.
  • Analyze sales figures and market trends to anticipate customer demand.
  • Source new products through market research or supplier relationships.
  • Make sure shelves are well-stocked with appropriate products in attractive displays.
  • Develop promotional activities, including advertising campaigns and special offers.
  • Monitor stock levels, ordering new items when necessary.
  • Establish relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts for the best prices and terms of sale.
  • Monitor competitors’ prices and activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and report regularly on sales performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business related field is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to influence others effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to think critically about problems or issues that arise in the course of work duties.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required (minimal work experience).
