Job summary

A leading EPC service provider in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Mechanical QC Engineer (NDT Level III) to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, significant Oil & Gas EPC experience, and expertise in NDT testing. Responsibilities include inspections, reporting, and quality assurance. This is a full-time position with no remote work options.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) Oil & Gas projects.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience (ADNOC experience will be an advantage).
  • ASNT ACCP NDT Level III or PCN Level II in Radiographic film Interpretation.
  • Very Good Command of English Language.

Responsibilities

  • Perform visual inspections, interpret radiographic films.
  • Prepare Weekly and Monthly Weld Status Reports.
  • Coordinate with client and NDT sub-contractors.
  • Monitor NDT activities affecting quality.

Overview

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for Mechanical QC Engineer (NDT Level III) to join our top qualified and knowledgeable QC Team in our project in Asab Abu Dhabi. Responsibilities


  • Visual inspection as per codes & standard before NDT.

  • Interpretation of Radiographic films.

  • Perform and witness UT MPI and LPI tests.

  • Monitoring NDT activities affecting the quality of welds contained each piping spools of an isometric have been completed and accepted.

  • Preparing Weekly and Cumulative Weld Status Report

  • Preparing Monthly Weld Status Report and report to Qc Manager

  • Prepare NDT request including PWHT if applicable for visually accepted joints to cope up with the NDT percentage requirements as per line class including welders performance percentage.

  • Familiarize with the approved quality and inspection plan.

  • Familiarize with approved drawing standards and specifications.

  • Preparation of final documents including NDT (RT MT & PT) reports.

  • Controlling welding repairs by taking corrective actions.

  • Coordination with client and NDT sub-contractors.

  • Follow up NDT backlog with sub-contractors.


Qualifications


  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Strong experience in Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) Oil & Gas projects is must.

  • Minimum 12 years of experience (ADNOC experience will be an advantage)

  • ASNT ACCP NDT Level III or PCN Level II in RT in - Radiographic film Interpretation PAUT AUT

  • CSWIP Level II in RT

  • ASNT LEVEL II in - Radiography Testing Ultrasonic Testing Liquid Penetrant Testing & Magnetic Particle Testing

  • Very Good Command of English Language
