Job Summary

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for supporting the Sales or Service department with heavy equipment by applying mechanical engineering principles in customer engagement, technical analysis, and operational support. The role involves undergoing structured on-the-job training, assisting in product knowledge development, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high service standards, customer satisfaction, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Development:

  • Participate in structured on-the-job training specific to heavy equipment operations and maintenance.

  • Gain exposure to equipment specifications, performance parameters, and operational workflows.

  • Learn organizational processes, safety protocols, and industry compliance standards.

Sales Track:

  • Support sales teams in preparing technical proposals, product demonstrations, and quotations.

  • Assist in analyzing customer requirements and recommending suitable heavy equipment solutions.

  • Participate in client meetings, site visits, and product presentations.

Service Track:

  • Assist service engineers in inspecting, diagnosing, and maintaining heavy equipment machinery.

  • Support preventive maintenance schedules, performance checks, and troubleshooting activities.

  • Coordinate with workshops, spare parts teams, and field technicians to ensure minimal equipment downtime.

Technical Support & Coordination:

  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and sales teams to resolve equipment issues.

  • Document technical findings, inspection reports, and service records.

  • Support commissioning, testing, and handover of machinery to customers.

Continuous Learning & Improvement:

  • Stay updated on heavy equipment technologies, new models, and operational best practices.

  • Contribute to process improvements, safety initiatives, and operational efficiency projects.

  • Apply engineering principles to enhance reliability, performance, and service quality.

Qualifications, Certifications & Experience (Mandatory & Preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferably from a UAE university).

  • Minimum of 0-1 year of experience in mechanical engineering. Fresh graduates are highly encouraged.

  • Valid UAE driver’s license

  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
