Responsibilities
  • The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing mechanical products that meet customer needs with regard to quality, cost, performance, reliability, manufacturability and safety.
  • Work closely with other engineering departments as well as with production staff to ensure that product specifications are met.
  • Design specifications development; product testing; product design improvements; working closely with the manufacturing team; providing technical guidance; designing prototypes; providing technical support throughout the production process; preparing bills of materials; developing project timelines; ensuring compliance with safety regulations; troubleshooting mechanical problems; researching new technologies; performing cost analysis; creating reports on research findings.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Excellent problem solving skills
