About the business area

The Retail Banking Group (RBG) supports retail and micro-business customers in managing their finances, through expert advice and the provision of a full suite of specialist products and services in conventional and Shari’ah compliant banking. We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our Retail Banking team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.

In this role, your key responsibilities include :

  • Relationship Management - Provide overall support and assistance to the line manager and the department as and when needed. Assist and co-manage projects within the agreed timelines and processes to ensure successful and timely roll- out. Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Account Planning and Budgeting - Assist with the marketing calendar for assigned customer accounts and reconcile actual activity versus planned activity. Ensure all activities are managed within budget and that standard operating procedures are followed for all procured activities.
  • Campaign Management / Marketing Communications - Respond and co-manage internal customer requests with efficiency. Evaluate marketing briefs with manager, coordinate with agencies where necessary, track and manage the jobs in a systematic manner to ensure that they are delivered within the timelines. Complete creative and copy reviews to ensure that all material produced is in line with ADCB’s brand standards.
  • Event Management - Manage end to end execution of product stands / kiosks and track and manage the installation and dismantling of stands and arrange sales collaterals as required to ensure the bank’s overall image is maintained.
  • Management Reporting - Proactively deliver a weekly status update to line manager. Ensure that information is accurately given in a timely manner to other departments relying on data to complete reports.
  • Vendor Management - Work with bank approved external suppliers to deliver marketing activities as required. Co-manage supplier relationship so that the performance of said suppliers is of a standard that ADCB would expect and accept.
  • Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures - Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders.
  • Self-Management - Manage self in line with the Bank’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own contribution to business performance.
  • Customer Service - Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions.

The ideal candidate should have the following experience

  • At least 3 years of marketing work experience in an organization of repute
  • Bachelor’s Degree with Diploma in Marketing
  • Excel, Word, MS Office
