Overview

Black & Grey HR is hiring for a highly qualified and experienced Manager Scholarship and Financial Aid to oversee the end‑to‑end operations of financial assistance and scholarship programs ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and exceptional support to students and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the daily functions of the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office ensuring services run efficiently and align with institutional goals.
  • Design, implement, and assess policies and strategies related to scholarships, financial aid offerings, grants, and tuition discounts.
  • Supervise the processing, reconciliation, and disbursement of student sponsorships and financial aid disbursements, including debt recovery.
  • Ensure strict adherence to institutional policies and legal/regulatory standards governing financial aid and scholarships.
  • Serve as the central liaison between internal departments and external partners to coordinate financial aid procedures.
  • Monitor and manage scholarship and aid funds, ensuring expenditures remain within authorized budgets.
  • Review student eligibility, handle appeals related to academic progress, and make informed decisions on aid adjustments.
  • Develop and present information sessions, workshops, and resources for students, families, and university personnel on funding opportunities and policies.
  • Collaborate with government and external entities to enhance financial aid offerings and support systems.
  • Oversee all documentation, contracts, and reporting related to scholarships and financial aid, including internal and external audits.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot financial aid information systems, maintaining quality control standards across all student funding processes.
  • Supervise processes related to special conditions, fund reallocation, and updating student financial records in the university’s systems.
  • Ensure transparency, accuracy, and timeliness in all financial aid‑related communications and decisions.
  • Lead initiatives such as managing the operations of internal funding schemes like the university’s dedicated aid fund (e.g., Thamer’s Fund), ensuring full compliance and audit readiness.
