Job Overview

The 3PL Logistics Manager will lead third-party logistics operations for Legend Holding Group’s automotive division in the UAE, ensuring efficient supply chain management for vehicle exports, parts distribution, and service center logistics. Based in Dubai, this role will oversee warehousing, transportation, and e-commerce fulfilment tailored to the automotive industry, driving operational excellence and client satisfaction in a competitive market. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with expertise in automotive logistics and a proven ability to optimize processes using technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end 3PL operations, including warehousing, inventory management, and transportation for automotive parts and vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, Freezone requirements, and international automotive logistics standards.
• Manage logistics for vehicle exports, coordinating with global shipping partners to ensure timely delivery.
• Optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs and enhance efficiency for automotive clients, including dealerships and service centers.
• Build and maintain relationships with automotive clients, ensuring seamless order fulfillment for e-commerce and B2B channels.
• Lead contract negotiations with clients and suppliers to secure cost-effective logistics solutions.
• Implement warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS) to streamline automotive logistics.
• Forge Relationships with freight Forwarders and Shipping lines to facilitate global shipping for existing business.
• Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and cost per shipment to drive performance.
• Lead a team of logistics professionals, fostering collaboration and accountability to meet business goals.
• Drive integration with automotive e-commerce platforms (e.g., DubiCars, Noon) for efficient order processing.
• Identify opportunities to expand 3PL services within the automotive sector, targeting new clients and markets.
• Manage the 3PL budget, ensuring profitability and cost control in automotive logistics operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in logistics, with 3-5 years in a 3PL management role within the automotive industry in the UAE or GCC.
• Strong knowledge of UAE logistics regulations, Freezone operations, and automotive customs processes.
• Proven experience managing logistics for vehicle exports, parts distribution, or automotive service centers.
• Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS) and automotive e-commerce platform integrations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills to manage teams and client relationships.
• Ability to manage budgets, KPIs, and operational performance in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• Established network within the UAE’s automotive and logistics ecosystem is preferred.
• Familiarity with sustainability practices in automotive logistics is an advantage.
