Job Summary

We are a new and growing freight forwarding company in the UAE looking for an Operations Officer with 2–3 years of local experience in freight forwarding.

The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in sea and air freight operations, be familiar with UAE customs regulations, and be able to handle bookings, documentation, and coordination with carriers and agents.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily freight operations for air and sea shipments (import & export).
• Book containers (FCL/LCL) with shipping lines and air freight shipments with airlines.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, agents, transporters, and customs brokers.
• Prepare and manage shipping documents such as:
  • BL / AWB
  • Invoice & Packing List
  • COO and other required export/import documents
• Assist in opening accounts with shipping lines, airlines, and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with UAE customs laws and regulations.
• Track shipments and provide updates to customers and management.
• Support basic pricing requests and operational cost checks.
• Resolve operational issues and delays efficiently.

Requirements

• 3–4 years experience in freight forwarding company in the UAE is must.
• Practical experience in air and sea freight operations.
• Basic knowledge of UAE customs procedures and documentation.
• Experience dealing with shipping lines, airlines, and local agents.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Organized, responsible, and willing to grow with the company.
