Livestock Specialist

A reputable livestock farming company based in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified and experienced Livestock Specialist to join our team. As a Livestock Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the health, nutrition, and overall well-being of our livestock. This position is open to candidates from Pakistan who do not require English proficiency and do not need accommodation, as we will provide visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement herd health programs to ensure the well-being of our livestock
  • Monitor and maintain the nutritional needs of our livestock
  • Oversee breeding programs and ensure successful reproduction
  • Manage disease control and prevention measures
  • Train and supervise farm workers on proper handling and care of livestock
  • Maintain accurate records of herd health, production, and any incidents
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technology for improved livestock management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing large-scale livestock operations
  • Strong knowledge of animal husbandry practices, nutrition, breeding, and disease control
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
