Job description

We are seeking a professional and responsible Light Vehicle Driver to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. As a Light Vehicle Driver you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of passengers or goods within the city and surrounding areas.

• Operate light vehicles safely and efficiently to transport passengers or deliver goods
• Adhere to all traffic laws safety regulations and company policies
• Plan and optimize routes using GPS and navigation tools to ensure timely arrivals
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before and after each trip
• Maintain accurate logs of trips mileage and any incidents or delays
• Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or goods when necessary
• Provide excellent customer service maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
• Report any vehicle issues accidents or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel
• Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained both interior and exterior
• Adapt to changing weather conditions and traffic patterns to ensure safe driving

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license for the appropriate vehicle class
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a light vehicle driver
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Thorough knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations in Abu Dhabi and the UAE
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
• Customer service-oriented with a professional and friendly demeanor
• Proficiency in using GPS and navigation tools
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if required
• Physical ability to assist with loading and unloading when necessary
• Defensive driving certification is preferred
• Familiarity with the Abu Dhabi area and its road network is highly desirable
