Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to conduct topographic surveys and prepare reports for civil construction projects. The ideal candidate has a Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, a minimum of 5 years of experience, and proficiency in relevant surveying software and tools. Attention to detail and a strong understanding of UAE standards are essential.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct land and topographic surveys for civil construction projects in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Establish accurate reference points elevations and benchmarks on-site.
• Prepare and maintain survey reports drawings and records.
• Operate and manage survey equipment (Total Station GPS AutoCAD Civil 3D etc.).
• Collaborate with project engineers site managers and contractors to ensure alignment and accuracy of works.
• Verify as-built drawings and support QA/QC requirements.
• Monitor subcontractor surveying works to ensure compliance with approved plans.
• Resolve technical issues related to levels coordinates and dimensions on-site.
  

Key Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering Geomatics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Land Surveyor in civil construction projects.
• Proficiency in survey instruments and relevant software (e.g. AutoCAD Civil 3D GIS Total Station GPS systems).
• Strong knowledge of land surveying procedures standards and construction practices.
• Prior UAE/GCC project experience is mandatory.
• Candidates currently based in the UAE and available to join immediately are preferred.
• Strong attention to detail accuracy and problem-solving skills.
