Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor. The role involves conducting land and topographic surveys, establishing reference points, and preparing survey reports. Candidates must possess a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction and strong proficiency in survey instruments. Ideal candidates will have prior UAE project experience and strong attention to detail, with immediate availability preferred.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct land and topographic surveys for civil construction projects in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Establish accurate reference points elevations and benchmarks on-site.
• Prepare and maintain survey reports drawings and records.
• Operate and manage survey equipment (Total Station GPS AutoCAD Civil 3D etc.).
• Collaborate with project engineers site managers and contractors to ensure alignment and accuracy of works.
• Verify as-built drawings and support QA/QC requirements.
• Monitor subcontractor surveying works to ensure compliance with approved plans.
• Resolve technical issues related to levels coordinates and dimensions on-site.

Key Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering Geomatics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Land Surveyor in civil construction projects.
• Proficiency in survey instruments and relevant software (e.g. AutoCAD Civil 3D GIS Total Station GPS systems).
• Strong knowledge of land surveying procedures standards and construction practices.
• Prior UAE/GCC project experience is mandatory.
• Candidates currently based in the UAE and available to join immediately are preferred.
• Strong attention to detail accuracy and problem-solving skills.
