Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting with Financial Reporting: balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements under the supervision of senior accountants.
- Accounts Payables and Receivables
- General Ledger Maintenance: maintaining accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts by recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing journal entries.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy between bank records and company accounts.
- Expense Tracking: Monitor and track company expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Financial Analysis: Assist in analyzing financial data and preparing reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
- Assisting with Audits: Support auditors during annual or periodic audits by providing documentation, explanations, and assistance with audit inquiries.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) proficiently for data entry, reporting, and analysis.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform other administrative duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounting and Finance.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
