The Role

We are seeking an Outstanding Secondary PE Teacher (Female) to teach girls’ PE and contribute to our journey to “Outstanding.”

You will
  • Deliver engaging, student-led PE lessons across Key Stages (British curriculum).
  • Plan for progress, inclusion, and challenge—every lesson, every learner.
  • Use classroom technology to enrich learning and assessment.
  • Lead / coach teams and drive a vibrant extra-curricular sports programme.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to keep raising standards.
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum) and PGCE in PE / Sport (or equivalent).
  • Experience in a British Curriculum school; familiarity with AQA / Edexcel (or similar) exam boards.
  • A track record of Outstanding practice (or clear capacity to become outstanding).
  • Confident planning lively, purposeful, student-centred lessons.
  • A genuine team player who contributes positively to department life and whole-school events.
  • Suitable for Newly Qualified Teachers who demonstrate strong potential.
