Job summary

A leading IT services provider in the UAE is seeking an IT Support professional to provide first and second-level support for system, hardware, and software issues. The candidate should have 2-5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field. Responsibilities include managing user accounts, troubleshooting hardware, and supporting Windows operating systems. Familiarity with networking fundamentals and relevant certifications is preferred. This role may require on-site and after-hours support.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in an IT Support role.
  • UAE / GCC experience is preferred.
  • Willingness to provide on‑site and after‑hours support when required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-level IT support for various issues.
  • Install and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Support Windows operating systems and business systems.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions.
  • Monitor and maintain network configurations.
  • Coordinate with IT vendors for support and maintenance.

Job description
Key Roles & Responsibilities
  • Provide first and second-level IT support to employees for system, hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.
  • Support and maintain Windows operating systems, MS Office applications, email platforms, and business systems.
  • Manage user accounts, system access, and permissions including onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Monitor and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and firewall configurations.
  • Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers for system maintenance, support contracts, and procurement.
  • Ensure regular data backups, antivirus updates, and adherence to IT security policies.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventory, documentation, and support logs.
  • Respond to IT service requests and incidents within defined SLA timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with Galadari Group IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and UAE regulations.
  • Provide basic IT guidance and support training to end users when required.
Key Skills & Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, Outlook, and end‑user computing.
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience in hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, VPN, antivirus, and backup solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
  • Customer‑service‑oriented mindset.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in an IT Support role.
  • UAE / GCC experience is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are an added advantage.
Other Requirements
  • Willingness to provide on‑site and occasional after‑hours support when required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
