Overview of the position

This is a hands-on technical role requiring a proactive and solutions-oriented individual. The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for providing first-line support across hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for our Dubai office. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology, customer service, and continuous improvement. This individual will champion our core values of flexibility, quality, knowledge, and teamwork.

Responsibilities
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across the company.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any interruptions to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Document and track IT support requests and resolutions for future reference.
  • System Maintenance & Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain desktops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
  • Maintain and update internal IT systems, backups, and security protocols.
  • Support the team with email setups, software installations, and system access.
  • Vendor & Compliance Management: Coordinate with external vendors for equipment servicing or software upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and data protection standards.

Location & Travel

Location: Dubai, UAE

Client location: International and National customer base but the majority are based in and around London.

Day to day Communication: Clients, Service & PMO Teams

Travel: From a day-to-day perspective, this role will require you to commute to/from our Dubai office where the role will be Situated. Additionally, you may be required to travel to clients across Dubai as needed.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, networking, and common business applications.
  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting and peripheral device maintenance.
  • Familiarity with IT security protocols and data protection standards.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment is a plus.
