Job summary

A leading construction company in Dubai is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor. The role involves executing internal audits, assessing compliance with laws and regulations, and identifying opportunities for process improvements. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fields, with a mandatory CA certification. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in relevant software are required. Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field is required.
• CA from ICAI certification is mandatory.
• Experience in the construction or real estate industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute internal audits according to the annual audit plan.
• Conduct process walkthroughs to evaluate control effectiveness.
• Perform audit procedures for compliance assessments.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Assist in risk assessments and contribute to audit improvements.

Skills

Strong analytical and investigative skills

Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Experience in working with ERP systems (preferably SAP)

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management

Time management and ability to manage multiple audits simultaneously

Education

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field

Professional certification: CA from ICAI

Additional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)

Audit analytics tools (e.g. Caseware IDEA)
