Job description

RINA is currently recruiting for an Integrated Logistics Support Engineer to join its office in Abu Dhabi within the Electronics and System Engineering Division.

Mission

Join RINA Consulting S.p.A. as an Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Engineer and contribute to critical ILS projects supporting leading aerospace and defence stakeholders. You will help ensure operational readiness and lifecycle supportability by developing robust configuration management systems, maintenance procedures, and supportability planning documents. This role offers a great opportunity to grow your expertise in Defence & Space sectors while working closely with OEM manuals and standards.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain configuration management processes, including documentation of spares, consumables, tools, and manpower requirements.
  • Create, review, and update maintenance procedures and instructions ensuring compliance with OEM manuals and industry standards.
  • Develop Supportability Planning Criteria (SPCs) based on Integrated Logistic Support principles, aligning with OEM documentation and specifications.
  • Support the preparation of logistic product plans and specifications encompassing reliability, availability, maintainability (RAM), and safety requirements.
  • Perform Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) throughout the product lifecycle, covering maintenance planning, spares provisioning, and supportability assessments.
  • Define and manage product / service breakdown structures, including classification, identification, and coding of configuration elements (hardware, software, documentation).
  • Conduct RAMT analyses to inform support strategies.
  • Evaluate and validate product security risks and ensure security requirements are incorporated into ILS documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide timely, accurate feedback to project and activity managers.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (General or Naval Engineering). Professional Certificates in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering are also acceptable.

  • Familiarity with S-Series specifications (e.g., S1000D, S2000M, S3000L) is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of MIL-STD-1388 or equivalent ILS standards is preferred.
