Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inspector Mechanical - Buildings Supervision to join our team in Dubai United Arab this role you will be responsible for overseeing and inspecting mechanical systems in building projects ensuring compliance with local and international standards and maintaining the highest level of quality and safety.

  • Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems in buildings including HVAC plumbing and fire protection systems
  • Verify compliance with building codes regulations and project specifications
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and communicate findings to project stakeholders
  • Review and approve mechanical plans and drawings
  • Collaborate with contractors engineers and other professionals to resolve technical issues
  • Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to project timelines
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols on construction sites
  • Stay updated on industry standards new technologies and best practices in mechanical systems
  • Participate in project meetings and provide expert advice on mechanical aspects of building projects
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Professional certification in mechanical inspection (e.g. ICC Mechanical Inspector)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical inspection or related field
  • Extensive knowledge of building mechanical systems including HVAC plumbing and fire protection
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical plans blueprints and specifications
  • Strong understanding of local and international building codes and regulations
  • Experience with CAD software and project management toolsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities with a focus on report writing
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
  • Familiarity with construction processes and safety protocols
  • Willingness to work on-site and travel within the Dubai area as needed
