Job summary

A construction and landscape company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced HR Officer responsible for managing core HR functions. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with UAE Labor Law, manage recruitment for white-collar and blue-collar roles, and handle employee relations, payroll, and health insurance processes. Preferred qualifications include a degree in HR or Business Administration and 3-5 years of HR experience in the UAE. Fluency in English is required, and Arabic is an advantage.

Job description

We’re looking for an experienced HR Officer to support and manage core human resources functions across our construction and landscape operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of UAE Labor Law, hands‑on experience in site‑based manpower management, and the ability to handle HR operations efficiently in a fast‑paced project environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage end‑to‑end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and off‑boarding.
  • Coordinate recruitment for white‑collar and blue‑collar staff, including site labor and technical roles.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Labor Law, company policies, and internal procedures.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, contracts, and HR databases.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs including attendance, timesheets, leave, overtime, and site allocations.
  • Administer employee health insurance processes, including enrollment, renewals, and coordination of claims.
  • Support performance management, employee evaluations, and disciplinary processes when required.
  • Handle visa processing, renewals, cancellations, and coordination with PROs and relevant authorities.
  • Assist in employee training programs, inductions, and HSE orientations.
  • Address employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and workplace issues.
  • Support HR reporting and provide regular manpower and HR status updates to management.
  • Coordinate with site teams to ensure proper workforce deployment and attendance control.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
