Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a dedicated HSE Officer with oil and gas experience to ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance at the project site. You will implement HSE policies, conduct safety inspections, and promote a strong safety culture. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in engineering or HSE-related field and at least 10 years of relevant experience in the industry.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in Oil & Gas, with at least 5 years in the GCC region.
• Experience with major onshore Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures on-site.
• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
• Report and investigate incidents and near-misses.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures on-site.

3. Ensure compliance with local and international HSE standards.
4. Report and investigate incidents and near-misses.
5. Maintain accurate HSE records and prepare regular reports.
6. Promote a proactive safety culture among site personnel.

Qualification / Experience (Skills) :

1. Diploma / Degree in Engineering or HSE-related field.
2. HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) preferred.
3. Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in Oil & Gas, with at least 5 years in the GCC region.
4. Experience with major onshore Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
5. Good knowledge of site safety practices and regulatory requirements.
6. Strong communication and reporting skills.
