Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Staff Management
  • Supervise and provide leadership to nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of patient‑centred care.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching, support, and professional development opportunities for staff.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels and manage scheduling, taking into account patient care needs and budget constraints.
Patient Care
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
  • Ensure that nursing practices align with evidence‑based standards and organizational protocols.
  • Monitor patient outcomes and address any concerns related to patient care or satisfaction.
Compliance & Quality Control
  • Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and hospital policies.
  • Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and nursing practices.
  • Oversee infection control measures, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and support staff, to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.

Financial & Resource Management
