A leading insurance company in Dubai is seeking a Head of Marine to manage the Marine portfolio for the GCCNA region. This role involves ensuring profitability, overseeing underwriting staff, and enhancing broker relationships. The ideal candidate will possess a University Degree or CII Qualification and have extensive underwriting experience. The purpose of this job is to manage the Marine portfolio for our GCCNA region and be responsible for Profit and Sales for the Marine division.
Additionally this role will also be responsible for oversight of underwriting staff, portfolio management, building and enhancing broker and insured relationships, training & developing current underwriting teams, hiring additional staff, maintaining profitability and development/execution of a successful business plan.
Qualifications & Education: University Degree / CII Qualification
Experience: Extensive business experience and proven track record of technical underwriting and portfolio management of marine products.
Training: No mandatory external training.
