Job description

Head of Design Department/Senior Design Architect

Our Dubai office is seeking a Senior Designer for its Conceptual Design Department. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional designer and a conceptual/theoretical thinker, as demonstrated by a portfolio of exceptional design projects. Must be up-to-date with architecture theories and trends, and must appreciate contemporary architecture. He or she must also be highly motivated, enthusiastic, have passion for architecture, and have excellent communication skills in English. Must possess advanced knowledge of international codes and zoning regulations to be incorporated into design concepts. Must also have experience managing a small to large group of designers. He or she will be presentable and experienced in interfacing with clients.

Minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience is required for this position, and the candidate must have excellent freehand drawing skills, and must also be an experienced user of conceptual software such as Rhino, Sketchup and 3Dmax. Revit experience would be a plus.

• LEED Accreditation and Architecture Registration, while not required, are considered a plus.
• The candidate must be available to relocate to Dubai immediately upon hiring.
