A leading financial institution in Sharjah is looking for a governance specialist responsible for establishing and operating the enterprise-wide governance framework for data assets and AI usage. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while promoting secure access controls. This role requires strong collaboration with multiple departments and timely reporting on Operational Risk, Fraud, and AML issues.

Job description

• The role is responsible for establishing and operating the bank’s enterprise-wide governance framework covering data assets, artificial intelligence usage, and user access controls.
• This role ensures that data and AI are used responsibly, securely, and in compliance with regulatory, ethical, and risk requirements, while enforcing strong identity and access governance across systems and platforms.
• The role acts as a governance enabler, working closely with Business, IT, Information Security, Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit.
• Display values of Integrity, Customer focus, competence, consistency and courteousness.
• Timely reporting to concerned parties on all Operational Risk, Fraud and AML issues.
