Job summary

A leading testing and certification company in Dubai is seeking a Soil Lab Technician to conduct soil and aggregate analyses, perform various tests, and prepare reports based on test results. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering and 2-4 years of relevant experience in a geotechnical laboratory under ISO 17025:2017 accreditation. Knowledge of BS, ASTM, and AASHTO standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-4 years' experience as Soil lab technician in ISO 17025:2017 accredited Geotechnical Laboratory.
• Experience in laboratory and field testing related to geotechnical or construction material.
• Familiarity with BS, ASTM, and AASHTO standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct soil and aggregate analysis in accordance with standards.
• Perform tests related to soil and aggregate properties.
• Ensure accuracy of results through calibration and maintenance of lab equipment.
• Conduct on-site material testing for compliance.
• Prepare factual reports based on test results.
