A luxury hotel group in Dubai is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead in-room dining and banquet operations. ·In-Room Dining Supervision:
-Lead and supervise the daily operations of the in-room dining team, ensuring efficient and timely service.
-Coordinate with kitchen staff to guarantee accurate food preparation and delivery.
-Ensure adherence to service standards, policies, and hygiene regulations.
-Handle guest complaints professionally and ensure guest satisfaction through personalized service.
·Banquet Operations Supervision:
-Supervise the setup, execution, and breakdown of banquet functions, ensuring all requirements are met.
-Coordinate with event organizers, F&B teams, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth and successful events.
-Oversee banquet staff, ensuring they deliver impeccable service while adhering to event timelines and hotel standards.
-Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations during banquet operations.
·Guest Experience:
-Anticipate and meet guest needs in both in-room dining and banquet settings.
-Address guest inquiries and feedback, ensuring exceptional service is delivered at all touchpoints.
-Continuously gather and act on guest feedback to enhance service quality.
·Operational Excellence:
-Ensure accuracy in placing orders, food preparation, and timely delivery for both in-room dining and banquets.
-Maintain high standards of food presentation and service across both areas.
-Ensure that all in-room dining and banquet areas, including equipment, are well-maintained and organized.
-Monitor and maintain accurate records of orders, payments, stock levels, and inventory.
·Team Leadership & Development:
-Train, mentor, and motivate both the in-room dining and banquet teams to uphold service excellence.
-Assist in scheduling shifts for both departments, ensuring adequate coverage during peak periods or events.
-Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement.
·Health & Safety Compliance:
-Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards in both in-room dining and banquet areas.
-Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain food safety and cleanliness.
·Inventory & Cost Control:
-Monitor and manage inventory for both in-room dining and banquet services, ensuring efficient stock usage.
-Collaborate with the F&B Manager to control costs and minimize waste.
-Oversee the proper handling, storage, and tracking of all stock items.
·Collaboration:
-Work closely with other departments, such as housekeeping, front office, and kitchen teams, to ensure seamless service for in-room dining and banquet events.
-Liaise with event planners and other stakeholders to ensure all banquet requirements are met and exceed expectations.
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS:
-Supervisory experience in in-room dining, banqueting, or general F&B operations within a luxury hotel setting is required.
-Proven track record of delivering high-quality service and managing a team effectively.
