Overview

Position duties include ensuring staff teamwork and optimum guest service, maintaining grooming and attire standards, completing opening/closing duties, organizing storage, performing inventories, monitoring dining room operations, and initiating maintenance work orders as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure staff work together as a team to provide optimum service and meet guest needs.
  • Inspect staff grooming and attire and rectify deficiencies.
  • Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing premises.
  • Inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness.
  • Complete scheduled inventories and stock and requisition necessary supplies.
  • Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well‑being.
  • Complete work orders for maintenance repairs.
  • Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees; serve as a role model and primary contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications.
  • Maintain clean and professional uniform and personal appearance; protect proprietary information and company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests per company standards; anticipate and address service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships; support team goals; listen and respond appropriately to colleagues’ concerns.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; identify, develop, and implement ways to improve efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, or cost savings.
  • Read and visually verify information in various formats; visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; move, lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds without assistance; use fine motor skills and hand‑eye coordination; maneuver through narrow or elevated spaces; navigate stairs or ramps; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisors.

  • Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • License or Certification: None
