POSITION SUMMARY

Ensure staff works together as a team to provide optimal service and meet guest needs. Inspect staff grooming and attire, and rectify deficiencies. Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, and locking doors. Inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness. Complete scheduled inventories and stock and requisition supplies. Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being. Complete work orders for maintenance repairs.

Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees. Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. Follow all company, safety, and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniforms and personal appearance are professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; and protect company assets.

Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, assist guests with disabilities, and thank guests sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally. Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, support teamwork, and respond appropriately to concerns. Ensure adherence to quality standards and look for ways to improve organizational efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost savings. Read and verify information visually in various formats, and inspect tools and equipment for defects.

Perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, lifting objects up to 50 pounds, and maneuvering in confined spaces. Reach overhead and below the knees, bend, twist, pull, and stoop. Perform other duties as requested by supervisors.
