About the Role

We are hiring a Financial Analyst (General Insurance) to join one of our leading clients in the GCC. This mid-level role is ideal for professionals with strong financial analysis expertise and prior exposure to the insurance sector. You will play a key role in analyzing financial performance, supporting pricing strategies, and providing insights that drive business decisions across diversified insurance portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present financial reports, highlighting key insurance KPIs (premiums, claims ratios, profitability).
  • Support pricing and actuarial teams with product profitability analysis and modeling.
  • Analyze claims data, track trends, and assess reinsurance impacts.
  • Provide scenario-based financial insights to support strategic planning and new business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Underwriting, Actuarial, and Finance teams to align analysis with company strategy.
  • Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis to support senior management decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, preferably in general insurance.
  • Strong understanding of insurance financial statements, solvency concepts, and IFRS 17 fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel and data analysis (SQL or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred
  • Professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA, CII, or actuarial exams in progress.
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and global insurance markets.
  • Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
